I bought my first pair of Scott II boots in August 2019. The top of the boot needed a bit of breaking in, but the sole was great from the start. I wore them pretty much every day since, and they've done great service. Eventually after over a year of daily abuse, the thin rubber sole delaminated from the backing and tore at the ball of my foot and the heel. This may seem like a fairly short life for a pair of good quality shoes, but I don't have a car, so I tend to walk and cycle everywhere.
I was certainly happy enough that I bought a new pair to replace them.
The uppers on my first pair were still in excellent condition, so I would have preferred to have them re-soled, however that does not seem to be possible at the moment. Which would be my one gripe.
I kept the thermal insole in the first pair, and was perfectly happy with them, but I got a pair of Herdwick felted wool insoles for the new pair and they're lovely and snug without being too thick.
Strange fitting shoes, I returned both pairs and am still waiting for the refund,
I am not a fan ,

Really upset. Having found Vivobarefoot and what I thought were comfortable well made shoes and boots for the first time for years I bought 5 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots as I live far from Vivobarefoot shops.
I am really disappointed how quickly the boots soles wear out, less than a year (I am not a long distance walker).
With 3 pairs of the shoes, the heels of the soles are splitting vertically and coming away from the body of the shoe and the upper is coming away from the sole at the sides at the sides with sections of the sole edge splitting off either side of the base of the toes exposing the stitching.
I thought it may be a one off problem with the first pair but I now feel ripped off and upset that within a few weeks of taking the shoes out of the bag I bought them in they are falling apart.
What is your policy on your shoes falling apart after not much wear?
Thank you
I DO NOT HAVE AN ORDER NUMBER, I BOUGHT THEM IN PERSON FROM YOUR SHOPS IN LONDON, SOME FROM NEAL STREET, COVENT GARDEN AND SOME IN WEST LONDON. I WOULD HAPPILY PROVIDE YOU WITH PHOTOS OF THE SPLITS IN THE SOLES AND SEPARATION FROM THE UPPERS, AND LABELS FROM THE ONES I TOOK OUT OF THEIR PURCHASE BAG LAST WEEK
PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY SO I CAN SEND PHOTOS

I've been coveting a pair of these for some time and I love them. purchased the Geo court trainers - so comfortable and light. With Christmas coming up I suggested this might be a gift to myself!
Bought a pair of magna trail vivo shoes for my boyfriend, he loves them far, they do exactly what they are supposed to do.
Despite their stiffness, I liked the first pair of Tracker FG boots I ordered, but one of the laces was frayed or burnt half-way through. I asked for a replacement lace but was told Vivobarefoot do not stock laces so I would have to return the boots and get them replaced. I did, but the second pair were uncomfortable - one footbed seemed uneven making that foot ache on one side of the heel. So I returned those too only to then find out they were out of stock in my size. I was referred to the Revivo website, which sent me a "reconditioned" pair, which are the most comfortable of the three but have no thermal insoles. I've bought generic insoles but the fit is not great. Also, the boots are slippery in the wet - not ideal for British hills. I like the boots and the barefoot feel, and all the Vivobarefoot staff I've dealt with have been very nice, but I'm not impressed by the company's quality assurance and will probably be returning this third pair too.
We bought our toddler his first pair of barefoot shoes. We love them, they fit perfectly and delivery was very swift. They are such good quality, we're so delighted to start his feet off in barefoot shoes!
Their shoes are super great and their customer service is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend to everyone!

Being new to the world of barefoot shoes I went for the geo court size 10. I am a size 10 in all shoes and these fit like a dream. Wide enough to let my toes spread which I think is the idea . The geo courts are stylish and very well made .
After vivobarefoot advertised that they had wide shoes for kids, I purchased a pair each for my kids. My elder son has a size 4.5, but his little toe is still touching the edge of the shoe, so they are not as wide fitting as I originally thought. Also my younger sons shoe size 10, also wasn't as wide fitting as I had expected. After contacting the customer service regarding this, they said I'd need to purchase women's size to get a wider fit for my son. This is obviously quite a bit more expensive than I had planned to spend. I hope they make wider fit for kids in the future.
I bought a pair of Primus Trail FG. I love the idea of these shoes: recycled materials, natural foot shape, etc. The shoes seem really well made, they're nice and grippy in wet, muddy and generally sloppy autumnal conditions. They're very comfortable when being worn in casual situations (walking, etc.).
My issue has been that when running on anything other than offroad trails the running experience is really quite brutal. It's noisier for one thing due to the lack of cushioning, but it really feels like a harsher experience in terms of impact when running on paved or tarmaced sections. I managed 2 - 3 10km runs on my usual mixed terrain routes before sustaining an ankle injury that is now going into its second week.
Despite the injury I'm tempted to give them another go once I've recovered (as they do offer a 100 day return) and I really want to find an ecologically sustainable shoe that works; it might be just coincidence with the injury but the unforgiving feel does make me suspect that these just won't work for me long term unfortunately.
Lovely boots. real leather, so I need to break them in. Barefoot soles and they are very comfortable. Less slippy than some previous Vivobarefoot shoes I've bought. Not had a chance to try them in ice and snow yet. Just notice that my socks tend to keep working their way down my feet so I have to stop fairly often to adjust them again. This is also a problem with a pair of Vivobarefoot wellies I have.
